The trenches were a great support against artillery, they have to return it to how it was in vanilla, if at least we have the incendiary shells of the mortars, flamethrowers to get the rats out of the trenches.

If you buff trenches again, things will get even worse.
More trenches means more ground digging, more ground digging means more stactic gameplay = arty spam to breakthrough.

The problems sits in arty not in lack luster defense tools.
Look around the forum there are plenty of suggestions arround the arty topic, maybe something interessting for you and you support/disagree.
