60Hz BK in Fullscrene

Hello everyone,
BK is a game that is normally set to 30Hz for every monitor when played in FULL SCRENE.
Because of that, the game sometimes feels laggy, even if you have a monster of a gaming pc, since 30Hz equals 30FPS.

For everyone that wants to play the game with 60hz there is a way to set the launch options, so the game activates a 60hz refreshrate while playing in full screne.

To do so:
1. go in your steam libary and open up your Company of Heroes properties.
2. go to launch options where you can enter possible options.
3. type in: -refresh 60 -nomovies -fullwindow -forceactive
4. Repeat the same for the BK application in Steam.


This will enable 60hz in fullscrene and disable the starting movie so it boots up faster. The changes on the refreshrate also makes the colors of the game look better and less "white".

Can I also up the refresh rate to 144 Hz or does the game break with such a high number?

it should be possible. Just replace the 60 by 144.
I dont have such monitor to test out.
