Royal Artillery spotters mark target on support weapons

Honestly I've not a clue whether its intended or a bug. But you can't have them mark support weapons like anti-tank guns for an accurate tracking barrage from a 25pdr or priest. I'm not fully sure about machine gun teams which are mobile. I know for sure it won't work if they've set up shop. So could we go about making the mark target work on support weapons? If possible
