Re: What are the top 3 doctrines that are hardest to play?

Depends massively on the game you are playing.
1v1s i would go for:
Propaganda , RAF, Defense
2v2s i would go for :
Prop, RAF, AB
3v3s and 4v4s:
RAF, AB, Blitz

Overall i would say, that after the recent changes, the hardest doc overall for me is RAF.

I find it easier to use inf units with 5 men rather than 7 as u can easier place them behind cover.
5 men squads on future? :)
NO!
Everything is 6! So everthing stays 6!

Sounds like a bug to me, that it does not fire.
Sadly the weapons must be picked up, because the weapon "changes" when switched to HE iirc.

Re: 95 mm artillery Churchil

95mm Churchill armor is fine, just the price is too low. And maybe all of these "howitzer" tanks could have a tweaked projectile, as Hawks suggested. The price is not too low. Its a high CP costing unit. With high MP costs aswell. RE is limited by MP and not fuel, due to the sector lockdown CP unlo...

Re: Luftwaffe Glider

I am not sure if this is specifically on point and if related, but is it possible to make Doctrines and CP tech tree's alike Tank Support doctrine model more, when we have eventual late game choice to go for Tank hunter brench (jagdpanther and so on) or Tank tree? For example, to make Luft (and pot...

Re: Luftwaffe Glider

Okay Mefisto, so just plain buff for one doc that isnt even the weakest, just not as versatile, so no need for tradeoffs. Just one point to mention here. Saying "this doc got nerfed" before, is not really a true. All docs were changed in a while or vice-versa in order to maintain balance. However, ...

Re: Luftwaffe Glider

Will there be any trade-off consequences to this change? As yet, you are basically describing me positive (buffs) for one single doc? Ah yes, sorry @Mefisto yes. It would be okay, if the Luft commander looses his ability to place a retreat point. On top, i would remove the medic HT from Luft aswell...

Re: Luftwaffe Glider

Sorry, but I was talking to mefisto and cgarr.l, not you. Where is the difference ? I just pointed out, that it is not similar. Or is the HQ glider the same as the RAF glider aswell? Markr already pointed how similar these concepts are. I have to disagree here with Markr. While the concepts may be ...

Re: Luftwaffe Glider

Arty camping really? A mortar or mortar HT is already enough to force you out of this location. Its not like a glider is like a upgraded building into a FHQ with a massive HP pool. Like honestly this mod adds so much explosion tools and ways to force out units out of a certain area. For me, gliders ...

Re: Luftwaffe Glider

@Consti The irony in all this is that this actually happened to me on Monastery Hill in a game two hours or so before I opened the forum and saw the thread. A 75mm autocar and a Stuart managed to penetrate the same Panther D frontally at mid range, in succession. In any case this thread is about Lu...

Re: Smoke changes.

is it possible to make smoke reduce sight range? (I guess not) I would however support the suggestion. Kwok made a nice analysis of the issue. The HMG42 is in particlar a death trap. When smoke was advocated everywhere i also tried it for some time but quickly figured out that the HMG42 remains ext...

Re: Luftwaffe Glider

If gebiegs get that, well you gotta take their tricky stats and magic weapons of them. Since the reason they couldn't reinf by air, was to make them different from Falls and so on.. I am actually unsure if this change would help intensify gameplay, or make it more camp around my glider blob shit. C...

Re: Smoke changes.

As much as I understand how confusing MG's are sometimes within the game, I can't agree to this proposition. This is simply make my sugar more sugary thing. Game does not consist of just MG's and Units that "use smoke", although when we are talking of problems concluded arround it, it may seem so. ...

Re: Artillery/Indirect Fire Self Defence

that is true. If you angle it well, AA does it job super deadly. Ill keep an eye open on .50 cals that are good angled for planes and try to get some replay. couple of vet-2 shermans+command car are as effective as an aa (just stack buffs lol). so you pay around 100 fuel for one AA which is normall...

Re: Artillery/Indirect Fire Self Defence

It actually does kill planes too fast sometimes, but it's less about fiftycal itself and balance, in my experience it happens with any AA in-game if timing and aiming angle was guessed initially that is true. If you angle it well, AA does it job super deadly. Ill keep an eye open on .50 cals that a...

Re: Luftwaffe Glider

So Luft would have the benefit of paradrops like AB, but also the benefit of "glider HQs" just like RAF. All of that combined with the strongest weapon upgrades for infantry in a doc that has Panthers available. When we added 50mm mortar to PE, some people were complaining that we're mirroring fact...

Re: Artillery/Indirect Fire Self Defence

I can tell the 95mm Churchill is probably quite cheap for what it does. And the mounted 50.cals still kill planes very fast sometimes. idk, you experienced it ONCE out of how many games that the .50cal overperforms ? Bring in more replayes where it clearly overperforms in AA capabilitys. Than we ca...

Re: Artillery/Indirect Fire Self Defence

Why doesnt it have any right to exist? Well, if you look at the doc, you can see that it has both anti-emplacements with the AVRE and rocket artillery to suppress enemy pushes. The 95mm Churchill is an addition to the doc pushing it more towards a defensive arty spam playstyle. The 95mm have a chan...

how about just swap out the current ammo/leig18 and mortar drop CP unlock for this glider?
So it would be available after 6 CP and not right after 4 with an heal ability.

Re: Artillery/Indirect Fire Self Defence

Making the 90mm Churchill more like the Sherman 105 or the Stuh? Sure. But be sure to have its damage be in line with these other units. Both of them can exclusively target emplacements, so the same should count for the 90mm Churchill. But it also has a lower caliber gun, so it should actually deal...
