531 bug - hotchkiss upkeep

is it intended for hotchkiss to cost 20 ammo upkeep after rockets upgrade ?

Rocket arty=arty->must have upkeep.
Rocket arty=stupidly strong->needs a lot of upkeep

it is an overlook i think. even hummel and 210 nebelwerfer cost 10 ammo upkeep.

i think 20 upkeep is a bug.

It should be just 10. Didn't you play in the "BK fun" mode?

yes it was the fun mode, but hummel and 210 nebelwerfer still costed only 10 ammo upkeep when hotchkiss costed 20
so i think it will still cost 20 in normal modes too but i didn't try it

The ammo upkeep for Hotchkiss is done differently than for other units. If we apply ammo upkeep the same way as for other units, then we will have the situation as it was in 5.3.0 - the Hotchkiss will have ammo upkeep even if it doesn't have the rocket launchers upgraded (which doesn't make sense). In the beta we changed that so the ammo upkeep only appears with the rocket upgrade. However, it causes this effect in BK fun mode where all player income is doubled because the upkeep is technically "negative" income value. If you play in "normal" game mode, the upkeep is as intended.

It shouldn't be a problem, because the "BK fun" mode is for testing purposes, not for real games.

if the upkeep is 10 in normal games then i agree.
