SP can't pen Sturmtiger

Hi, yesterday I had a game where my SP couldn't pen a Sturmtiger, even with Piercing ammo (then i had to use a E8 ).. not a big deal but it was a bit strange, thx

That was me and my Sturmtiger. And emh, im not sure what the issue is, as i believe, that specific, game it could hold shot or two, but then SP basically trashed it, as any other tank.
More to say, you had over too much luck with SP that game : P

SP has a base penetration of 1.2 at long range, .4 against a kingtiger/sturmtiger, and APCR modifies it up 1.7

So... 1.2 * 0.4 * 1.7 = 80% chance of penetration. So technically it COULD bounce. You might've gotten unlucky a few times. Without the replay, we just have to say it was probably bad luck, sorry.

Yes. it was just nitpicking bad luck, since all the game through he had shot by shot penetration and was simply expecting it to do as best as it was.

Well, it was rather lucky SP if u ask me. Considering what and how game was going.

I knew, SturmTiger should/could tank a shot or two from SP, especially on long distance, so i was pushing it forward, trying to lure shots, instead of KT : P
And SturmT is rather useless. 700mp and whateverelse how much munitions multiplied on that long reload time..Really?

Make it cheaper, or let it somehow reload/cooldown faster. Maybe with Officer nearby or i dunno.
