After much feedback from surveys, forum polls, forum discussions, and the occasional direct message, we have tried our best to build a comprehensive and in depth doctrine loosely anchored around two core ideas: Propaganda and Volkssturm. This doctrine will replace the current Terror doctrine. From a unit composition perspective, the doctrine encourages the use of light conscription-based infantry coupled with terrifying heavy hitter war machines, including Tiger tanks and rocket artillery. From a playstyle perspective, while its larger weapons are strong, it won’t be enough to carry the game. To maximize the potential of this doctrine, the player will need to use a new arsenal of buff/debuff abilities representing propaganda warfare. The doctrine can roughly be broken down into three sections:
The Propaganda Path (with sub-sections of a volkssturm path and officer path)
The Tiger Path
The Artillery Path
Please feel free to discuss the CONCEPTUAL and STRUCTURAL aspects of this doctrine here. This is NOT a thread to talk about specifics, unit balances, value changes, or any thing of that sort.

Tarakancheg: I want volkssturmm to upgrade to knights cross holders at vet 5 so that I can just show players how bad they are.
Re: New Terror/Propaganda Doctrine Structural Updates
I think my posts in the other threads kind of indirectly addressed doctrine structure, but my only suggestion is rolling the 1CP ability under the tiger (what appears to be a call-in tiger) into the 2CP muni-fuel trade slot and just renaming it to something like heavy tank mobilization. In the newly opened slot, something like the global buff I described in the tiger thread would be nice.
Other than that, it looks good.

Re: New Terror/Propaganda Doctrine Structural Updates
what is officer going to be?
Re: New Terror/Propaganda Doctrine Structural Updates
As of right now, the officer upgrade will likely be propaganda abilities unlocked for an officer.
Former Inspired assault will likely be squad targeted buffs, former forced retreat will be squad targeted debuffs to enemies, the sector retreat will be sector targeted propaganda abilities, the final unlock will be global propaganda abilities.
These might change, they are just initial thoughts.

Re: New Terror/Propaganda Doctrine Structural Updates
It all just looks great. I like it a lot.
The only question is, how will the 280 mm off map rocket strike look like? Just like def doc one which was "save kill everything" or will it be a bit different? Like changed delays between shots, less dense and more spread so that it hits a larger area instead of being "accurate pin-point strike" on a single target?
But the entire concept and tec tree is just awesome.
