I wasn't playing seriously at all. I picked no doctrine and spent the whole game trying to make good use of daimlers. probably didn't even get third truck

Yup, that's Warlord... Can't believe how I never realized who it was! Although he is on my friends list already.
Anyway, I think there was no need for smoke.. they never really had the chance to build any strong defense.
