I just tried that - it does. You give them Attack ground order and they start shooting at the position :?

With all mortars? When I tried it in past it didn't work for all of them

Sofar I tried US 60mm, 80mm, mortar HT, CW 2-inch mortar and mortar emplacement and all worked.

Only the mortar emplacement did not fire when I used the attack ground at as much range as possible. I guess the game allows to click a little bit behind the max range and because the mortar cannot move, it cannot shoot but when I clicked a little bit closer it fired normally.

This is what the 2-inch mortar did after few minutes of continuous fire.

It is possible that some of the mortar units in the game have the attack ground ability disabled but if so it can be re-enabled.

I have had issues with 107 barrage not working. Seems its connected to the ground it stays similiar to Priests.


Anyway, that all sounds good. So players need to know now that this attack ground is the new free way of shooting with mortar? Or do we get perhaps a new ability to make it more obvious for players that there is one slow shooting "continues mode" that perhaps stops also after minutes of shooting by order a hold manually and a ammo costing barrage ability?

There is any way to prohibite mortars to shoot manually and automaticly without using barrage hability? Its anoying as fuck how mortars are effectives from then to then vs movible infantry without pressing anithing.

I would like to see this implemented to all mortars if its possible only being able to fire by using free barrage hability so their rof gets a little more into normal levels 'cause right now they're killing machines.

how do i install the patch? it doesn't "auto" install with Steam...

If it does not install automatically, I would recommend trying this:
1) In your Steam Library right-click on "CoH:BK mod" and select "Properties"
2a) Go to "Updates" tab and make sure you have this thing set:

Click on "close" and see if the game starts downloading some files.
if that does not make the update download, from point 1) continue here:
2b) Go to "Local Files" tab and click on this button:

It is sort of "forced update", always works for me.

If this does not work either, then I would suspect something might be wrong with your Steam client and I would recommend reinstalling Steam.
