Demolition Stormtroopers not Gaining Experience from Mine Ki

So I noticed that Demo Storms in my last game don't gain Exp from Schrapnell mine kills. Im pretty sure this is a bug, but if not this should be changed.

Do mines give exp at all to the unit that layed the mines? I destroyed a Halftrack with AT squad inside with a mine but my engieeners that put the mines didnt get any veterancy.

Yeah my engineers get vet for inf mines at least from what o noticed. Not sure about anything else though. I never really cared for veterany, so I never keep track until it happens.
Tarakancheg: I want volkssturmm to upgrade to knights cross holders at vet 5 so that I can just show players how bad they are.
