Sten commando squad can't buy Thompsons in RA Doctrine

In patchnotes of 4.9.3 it says that Sten commando squad can now buy Thompsons, but they can only buy Thompsons in RAF Doctrine, not in RA Doctrine. Is that a bug or intended?

Afaik intended, as the RAF sten squad would receive two Bren LMGs before. As they were moved to Lee Enfield squad, sten squad got the thompson upgrade.
No Bren upgrade for sten squad in RA before -> no Thompson upgrade in RA now.

Yes, the weapon changes in Commando squads were done for RAF only.
