No, Suppression ability works only against infantry, Vehicle button ability works against vehicles. The button ability is available to CW infantry with Bren guns and I think some PE infantry has it with LMGs.

Oh, I misunderstood. I thought volks and grenadiers got the vehicle button ability as well.
