German HT troops visible through fog of war

Hey there,

something I've noticed in one or two games lately but sadly don't have any footage of:

It would seem that one of the German HTs, and I think it's the BK Grenadier one, is visible through the fog of war when it contains troops. Basically you see hovering troops in T-Pose moving in small jumps, making it easy to predict when it will be fully visible and thus able to be attacked. I don't know of the exact circumstances needed, whether it's only on special maps or whether you have to have specific troops in them but maybe this can be fixed before the next update.

EDIT: I'll try to get footage of it the next time it happens but if someone else can confirm it and upload a replay of it, that would of course help.

in one ht there are grens+tank busters and in other one there r volks+pioners and they all r visible

This is a known bug which has been even part of vanilla game. I don't think we can do anything about that, I'm affraid.

Ya, sadly the same story just happens with any transporter vehicle in the game.. not just Axis ones. And as MarKr mentioned already... The original CoH game also suffers from the same problem. It does have something to do about the game engine.

Clearly, the way how transporters are working in CoH is not the best... Either the troops will be visible all the time, even through fog of war.. or they wouldn't be visible at all, which is the case with the bugged M3 US half-track currently... I wonder if the Bk devs could ever be able to introduce a complete workaround for this issue, it has been a mystery for years now.

Ah alright. I never encountered it in vCoH but then again I never played it much. Thanks for clearing it up.

If devs can't fix that then maybe just make those transport unit cheaper since if the units inside can't shoot its a nerf.
