[Version 5.1.2 Steam Release] Game Freeze during Startup at Main Menu

Whenever I seem to start up the mod through steam it immediately freezes and won't leave the main menu for a good 15 minutes. It used to work before, now I'm not sure why it doesn't work.

if you are on win 10 try this ; find RelicCOH.exe right clic propriety -- compatibility -- clic on disable full screen optimisation.
