Can't Join Friend[V4.9.8]

I try to join my friend(who also has version 4.9.8) but it gives me this message: "Wrong version. The host of the game is using different product data". We have tried verifying our files and still nothing works. Both of our active versions in the launcher say version 4.9.8. And neither of us have any skin or sound addons.
