Combat Engineers

Since the Thompson buff I was kinda wondering if they were worth it for the combat engineers. I dont have corsix and I can't download it for some reason so I was wondering if someone could post the stats of the two weapons in the comments.

They are worth 100%.
I think it is not necessary because if i understand correctly, SMGs get looked at next patch.

i feel like whenever i upgrade Thompsons, they become capable of killing inf at longer distance.

Thompsons has gotten some pretty massive buffs it it's a tiny bit better than grease gun instead of the other way round.

In my opinion, they should fullfil different tasks.

- The Thomspon should be the best CQC SMG in the game while loosing accuracy on range.
- The M3 should be similar with the MP40 stat whise with slightly less RoF in burst but with more accuary on longer ranges.

As i said, i think the Devs are already looking at SMGs for the next patch.

The Thompson was an expensive and deadly weapon. It had also a higher rate of fire. In BK all weapons have their realistic rate of fire. So no changes should be made here and also have realistic magazin sizes (only FG42 used to have a too large magazin). vehicle MGs sadly dont have realistc sized ammo boxes.

The ammo used is for both the same. Thompson had a somewhat higher muzzle velocity hence the slightly higher damage.


The Grease Gun is a cheap weapon made for pure mass production. So in terms of quality the thompson should be better. Higher rof and decent accuracy. The Grease gun has shorter cooldowns but lower rate of fire and overall accuracy. It shouldnt beat thompson at range.
