How to remove the retreat flag??

How could i remove the retreat flag that gebirgsjaegers created?
In game,the only way i can remove the flag is to use explosives.
Is there any easy way to remove it or cancel it?

I'm not really sure now but some buildings (such as emplacements) can be removed by selecting them (left click) and then pressing "Delete" key - you'll see a button on UI which "destroys" the building and I think you get some of the resources back. Maybe it works on the retreat flag too?

select the retreat flag as if it is a unit or building and just press delete button (1-3 times ).
