Question about Evasive Action

Description of this ability mentions that squad using it will heal faster. I do not think this is true. I closely watched health of injured infantry squad adjacent to the medics and was not able to notice any difference in health regeneration no matter if the EA was active or not. The whole concept of increased regeneration while in ambush is weird to me. Does this ability even work this way? If not then the description should be corrected.
