Question about British Staghound

Description of this unit states that this is a commander vehicle which improves performance of nearby tanks but I didnt notice any improvement at all and the graphical effect which should indicate leadership bonus in the same way as Lieutenant or Command Tank do is not present so is this unit really providing leadership bonus to tanks? If yes then please add graphical effect indicating that and if not change the description of this unit to provide more accurate information.
