Hej.

It is just me, or...

PE AG. Two squads. Both zero experience. HMG fire at long range, they pin, I move them out of firing range. There is a parachute squad nearby, the two-man squads, and a bit later a squad of grease gun inf turns up. There's occasional incoming "mortar-like" fire - not a mortar, I think, some sort of special ability? My inf take fooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorEVER to come out of being pinned. It must be a minute or more.

I've not noticed mortar fire pin before - I could be wrong, maybe it does?

I got fed up in the end, and thought it was broken, and retreated.

Yeah, the regen for coming out of suppression is either altogether halted or heavily debuffed if the unit is still in combat. So you can essentially keep a unit pinned by firing pellets at a suppressed squad because the suppressed squad "stays in combat".
Tarakancheg: I want volkssturmm to upgrade to knights cross holders at vet 5 so that I can just show players how bad they are.
