Hi Everyone,

Been quite a while since i frequented these forums, some people may remember me from making maps and other from games as their seem to be a few familiar names in posts.... have had to re-register now etc, assume that was part of a new forum thing.

What is the state of play with BK at the moment, is it stll just COH1 or is their COH2 now?

Still in coh1. Welcome back! Don't think we know each other.
Tarakancheg: I want volkssturmm to upgrade to knights cross holders at vet 5 so that I can just show players how bad they are.

Cant speak for BK1 as I stopped playing due to constant desyncs

Here is the situation with Blitzkrieg 2:

Wolf got as far as doing the camera zoom out and popcaps but has stopped all modding due to real life commitments:

A couple of ex BK players/modders have started their own COH2 mods in the meantime.

Wikinger mod is more or less "based" on BK. At least unit cost had been taken more or less directly from BK1. Cant speak for the current situation there as i havent been in coh2 for several months.

the devs coming from south america so far and are from Wolf tactics clan. That includes Gsamu who is iirc the owner. Also olhausen, a (ex) BK member participates there.


Spearhead has more realistic weapon damage, pen etc but is not for everyone. There even a coaxial MG shreds a squad when catching this squad in the open. But every inf can make ambushes from perfect cover positions. Its quite interesting but as i said, not for everyone. You need to play very carefully or a unit is dead much faster as in BK 1. The creators/devs are old BK players and forum members. Charles vane and Leepriest are two of them. Forgot the name of the boss there. But they tried to make it as realistic as possible.

No I am not UKvaultman, but I packaged his map pack for him into one large SGA file some time ago.

I made a few maps , two of which were for guys on BK other are scattered arround on one site or another.
