today me and my friend tried to play the blitzkrieg mod, however he can normally see online matches but i cant. when we try to join each other it says different version, however we both exactly installed the same the thing the same order. its just really weird that mine acts different, or could it be because he has windows 8 and i 7(doubt it though) so is there anything there could be done?
we installed: blitzkrieg 4.8.6.0 full, blitzkrieg 4.8.6.0 map pack, blitzkrieg 4.9.3 patch

Well, if ur friend can normally join online matches without any problems while u can't.. then it means that the problem is obviously coming only from ur side so far!
So, do u have any other mods or custom skins installed for ur CoH beside Bk?
What is the currently recognized version of ur Bk mod according to the information provided through the Bk launcher itself?! Check that the 'currently activated version' is 493 on the launcher.
