File type unknown

Hi. I down loaded BK mod "Full installer" , the mappack und the latest patch. But it seems the file type is different. it isn´t an ".exe" but a".3Patch[1]"-thing file. Does anybody know if I need a special programm to open such files? Or should I download it again and see if it works?

Only the patch file is not an '.exe' format?

Are u sure that u have downloaded the correct link?
What about the size of that file? The latest patch was around 50MB...
How is the file's icon looking like? A white paper?! Or the Bk mod logo??!!

If it's just a white paper icon.. and ur file is 50MB in size, then try renaming it simply adding ".exe" at the end; without any space!

Thanks for your reply . I instantly tried to change the file type to ".exe" of all of the three files and it worked. No Problem with the Installation or what so ever. thank you very much
