Downloaded file is not recognized as application ".exe"

I downloaded 4.8.6.0 Full version the other day, but double clicking wouldnt start the installation.
I tried this with various other Blitz versions as well and for some reason every file im downloading starting with version 4.8.0.0 does not work as well.

But any erlier Files V 4.7.x.x and before work perfectly.

I really could use some help because this is waaaay beyond my lvl of competence.

Come on not one clue what could cause this?

I cant even install Blitzrkrieg Mod at the Moment this is srs bsns :O

NEVERMIND!

I dont know how but downloading from mediafire instead of ModDB fixed the Problem on ist own.
