Blitzkrieg Mod Forum

Hi.

I uninstalled Steam, reinstalled, installed CoH and BM mod.

It all used to work fine.

Now I get this : "Failed to set a working mode for the rendering device".

The game fails to start.

Anyone run into this before?

Googling fines other people having this problem for a couple of years, but no answers.

This fixed it;

1) Run winecfg
2) Goto the libraries tab
3) add d3d11
4) edit it to disable it.

In other words, turning off DX11.

Why this was being used now and not before, I do not know.

Steam startup will take a bit longer, and also COH/BKM startup, but it all works.
