Hey guys.
Is it possible to to somehow ban these "jordan" topics? They showed up in most sections of the forum and are obviously spam. Is it possible to do something? Since the poster is always a different "person" (probably bot) would it be possible to ban the IP it comes from or whatever would stop it from further occurence?
Thanks
EDIT:
Also there are 21 "members"starting with letter "B" and continuing with random letters - these are the posters of those topics. Maybe delete/ban them?

Re: That bullshit "jordan" spam
It's part of this new spambot plague that is terrorizing forums far and wide, many other forums I have used are also being spammed by these same bots, but currently there is no solution.
Banning them doesn't work either, as they just generate new accounts, the forum admins from the other forums I use just have to delete all threads by that account, then the account itself, which is only a temporary fix, as they always come back.
EDIT: Some more information, the Spam Bots always have something in common, from the other forums, they always had a Key Word in their spam thread names, in this case, as you already know, it appears to be the word Jordan, which means they are coming from the same source, the one from the other forum was always advertising some kind of "Black Magic" or something like that, none of those forums are yet to find a solution to it.

They were all registered the same day, I switched another captcha (but bots can probably avoid that), added email verification. Lets see.

Oh god it's back, but now it's trying to sell different products.
Re: That bullshit "jordan" spam
Changed captcha to something else, hopefuly it will prevent bots a bit.
Also registrations will be temporarily activated by me (for a few days). Then it will be switched back to mail activation.
If you have some reminder mails set, they might temporarily not work too.

Your effort is really appreciated, as activating accounts manually would be quite a task, again, thanks!
