german strategy

Hello everyone!
Do you have any suggestions on a strategy to beat a team of three players using the three British doctrine (which doctrines my team should use, general advice for the various units/emplacements/tactics )?

The best combo is Scorched Earth + Terror + Blitzkrieg. PE player must play pure support role ( oping res point with Scout Cars, covering flanks with paks, providing arty support). WH players should spend all efforts into gaining flexible offensive army ( storms, grens, panzers 4 and ostwinds, later heavy tanks ). Terror player can follow up your team's rushes with walking stuka, while SE arty can pay more attention into countering enemy army. Just some tips:)

Vs Three brits i like would say SE, BK, Luft.

Brits have nice "step ups" or tiers ups that brings them always something to break campy moments before it gets too campy. Make sure you get rece and glider counter fast enough. If you push too hard you get killed by counterattack of rece and gliders. But make sure they wont get too many important points. At least keep them neutral by guarding them with pak, schwimm and grens behind sandbags and get the mortar HT. Make sure you have rece counter and vehicle like scout car to prevent glider attacks killing your weapon crews.

BK is awesome vs brits. especcially stormtrooper with leader squad, cheap ostwind and tank IV´s. Tigers and stuff isnt really important vs only brits. Their 17 pdr makes no real difference between tiger and Tank IV´s. So beat them with many versatile units instead with single super tanks.

Luft is also awesome. Brits lack snipers (later RAF get them) and your inf beating all brits inf, esspeccially gebirgs should do a great job first , killing them at distance. later henschels getting usefull against their tanks and the panzerfausts.

SE is awesome because of flame nades and competetive arty and heavy mortar. Haupsturmführer and heavy assault grens and SS squads are great vs commandos. Just dont lose them.

If the brits got max tier and when you still stand well then you have pretty good chances to win. Brits losses are all costly. In fact, if you just kill a sapper squad its being a pain for them. Their units are very specialized but good in what they do but also expensive like other multirole units. So get many multirole unis like Tank Iv´s, panthers and luft inf and you can cause huge chaos among their lines and their micro managemant (especially RE) might overstrain them.

Commandos becoming dangerous later again. In general i would say dont get too many static units and dont camp too much.

and when brits start losing some units, especially after they reached the max tier, then you should have good chances to win.

Also you might start an surprising assault straight to their priests. Many cant imagine than someone runs with his tanks straight to his priests taking the risk to lose these tanks. But when just one tank manages to knock out a vet priest then it was worth it. The SE player should keep the arty dominance then and crushing all the brits.

Ostwind, Tank IV´s, Grens, stormtrooper. There are lots of options.

The larger the map the weaker becomes inf doc. On small maps with many large ammo points inf doc is quite goode. On larger maps, when axis can move better with tanks and stuff the inf doc is getting weaker. On large maps the off maps are dealing less damage in relation to the MP float. The inf doc arty inflexibility makes their arty units almost or literally usless. And you can bypass emplacments a lot easier.


Terror doc has good anti emplacment weapons with walking stuka and nebler VT and good assault with grens. Def doc is also good. Lots of arty and extremly powerfull VTs.

BK doc storms overrun defenses anyway. Drop smoke with infantry mortar and use assault ability of your stormtroopers to clean emplacments. Leader squad off map mortar on pak and Panther wins the day.

The leig 18 is awesome anti inf weapon. Back your Tank IV with leig 18 in ambush and it smashes most inf.

Storm leader squad and suppression squad will rape any US inf easily before those can effectively deal damage.

Panther soaks up damage, kills the inf doc jumbos and bashes also inf. Back it with ostwind/storms and inf doc can only hope to have some luck with off map arty to get rid of panthers. Panthers backed with some stg/lmg inf and inf doc will have some hard times. In fact he will most likely only defend and waiting for off maps vs panther. Thats your turn then to assault with stormtroopers on their emplacments. But not as dully blobb as most will do. Keep the leader squad in center and way back but in range to boost the inf. Left and right of it assault squad with stgs but also schrecks using nades etc to bust the emplacments. Make sure you have your ammo points upgraded or inf doc spams more emplacments as you can kill. Schrecks are good offensive enforcer against emplacments.
