How to play axis

Post by Warhawks97 »

For all those that keep crying about whatever poor heavy axis tanks and stuff.

You dont need that crap. Not even arty. Just press hard with grens, stugs and Pumas within the first 20-30 mins

Me (inf)
Erich (Raf)

vs

Coastal Battery (SE)
Peken (unkown, BK or Terror)

This is a special vid for Tiger. I am telling him that he just needs to be more aggressive and use his endless ammount of res which he always has between min 20-30.

Enjoy.

These guys know how to play axis correct.

Thx man, I really appreciate your compliments. I am no good axis player, I think I am much better with allies.

PS. I played with different acc than usual beacuse I was alone with my daugher, so in case I had to leave the game in the middle of the fight if she had woken up.

Hell, mate! ^^ Are you trying to prove for me that heavies are not poor, somehow by showing me how heavies aren't needed in the first place anyway?
I already know that heavies are mostly not needed, but that's exactly the problem...

And if you remember the game we recently had on Bizory (me & TAVARES as Axis vs you & Mofeta as Allies) which I didn't upload and not willing to upload either, because it wasn't really interesting enough.. but you know very well that the game ended pretty much the same way. Me and TAVARES won in about 30 minutes as well. So, I already know how Axis can finish the game early on, when played correctly.

However, actually Allies can just do the same too.. the problem is if the game would be longer than 1 hour, at this point.. heavies are usually everywhere on the battlefield, and not just from Axis but actually from both sides (Axis and Allies) but at the same time also useless and not really worth their cost.. due to being very expensive although there are always a lot of counters available against them at such very late stages of the game! Not to mention that this isn't only the case with Axis; but the US Armor doctrine as well, which is one of my most played doctrines of all times, so far...

And you could have finished us even much faster. You already had Panther D and didnt know whether to attack or not. You gave us a lot of time again to build up at least a minimum of defenses but you could have finished us even faster.

I admit that Mofeta lost 70% of his units in that game to this hotchkiss which was on the field at about 6-7 mins or so. Tavares went straight for it.

Well played game from both sides.

Axis managed to recover from stumbling and briefly losing the middle in the early game. That Panzer III Ausf. N was DEVASTATING. I noticed that even its machines were very effective.

we had a game at Valkensward weeks ago. 3 vs 3. It was me when i came back to BK with two mates (Sturmgeist and Apposso) who also came back to bk at that time. It lasted quite long and was open for a long time with both sides losing almost everything at some point. He was RE doc and got pushed at one point, even losing a truck iirc. We also managed to push the other side at some point but they played well, recovered and a well placed off map arty strike in the center and forward spawn combined with house spawn killed us later. Our gebis and Fallis still managed to kill several churchills and even one or two croccs.

I cant say if RE is his fav doc, or if he played serious (i dont even think he did it in this game here).
However the most part of that game was destruction with usually just a few units on both sides. We lost after that arty strike that hit us hard. It was luck involved though during many parts of that game with unlucky immobilizations etc.

The simple point of this vid is to show how axis can be played besides sitting arround like ducks and waiting for heavy tanks and how vulnerable US can be to spam within the first 20-30 mins and how formidable units like "silly" Tank III´s and IV´s paired with stugs and low cost inf can be.
