HE Wirbelwind againts inf in a trench

Please check the damage parameters of Wirbelwind with HE against infantry in the trenches. Recently I tried to use it for advancing at rifle section in the trench, it literally took over one minute of shooting before guess what...the trench got destroyed, whereas inf section lost only 3 men.
