The Italians

The Royal Italian Army put in the mod.

I'm just going to leave these here.

Better be a long discussion!

Maybe in the form of a supportive infantry unit, like the Canadian infantry for Royal Artillery.

Why do we need an entire new faction when we have our own italian 525 clan? Just play in their discord chats and use your imagination where their convos are your units talking lol.
Tarakancheg: I want volkssturmm to upgrade to knights cross holders at vet 5 so that I can just show players how bad they are.

I shared this post with them and the reply was: "what's the point when all its units would be borrowed german tech?" :D

If we've got anyone that can do modeling/skin work for coh1, I'm sure it wouldn't be a huge deal to have an alternate skin for volksgrens or something with Italian soldier and Italian weapons (prob same stats on rifles, MG would prob be closer to bar in terms of strength/price.

Convincing them to actually do it would probably be the hard part.

Actually, there are some of units that are really Italian in origin. Fiat Ansaldo p40, Semovente m42, OTO T20 FA-HS, Breda 501, Fiat 6614, Alpini division ( with all of their stuff of regiment that had its own artillery, engineering, and ancillary services associated with the regiment on a permanent basis) and Africa settentrionale 1942 with standard infatry and medical troops.

The possibilities are many for Italian army, but they open a new needing map because of their opperating points of Balkan and North Africa.

Just to be said they even had their own set of equipment and weapons which is shown in the picture below. :)
