Can any native speaker living in germany or austria please tell me how do you say ""speed limit" in a sense of traffic?

That would be "Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung", or less formally "Tempolimit".

We just stick words together that belong together. Here it is "Geschwindigkeit" + "Begrenzung" or "Tempo" + "Limit" so it's easier than you think :P
