Ah okay, if the jackson overtakes the jumbo, then why isn't the solution to make the 76 jumbo more viable within the doctrine? Tiger, I think the argument of why this is a panther issue is because panthers come at 6CP and jumbos come at earliest 5CP behind a supply yard. By the time any type of jumbo comes to the field the panther will just push it out immediately. So jumbos are underrepresnted in the current meta regardles...

Almost. According to corsix the first one doesn't bring democracy, it brings you "democracy". But effectively it just gets you colonized so basically the same with a different flavor.

Tweaking the panther performance as a means of indirectly increasing the viability of the jumbo is a solution as well. All possibilities. Ironically Warhawks, you saw a game I played with Dunham against Fredrickson and Wurf on la fiere. It wasn't even the panthers that murdered me as an inf doc play...

What I don't understand is how people think that infantry doctrine is lacking breakthrough units? It probably has the most varied artillery in game, infantry that can just magically pop out of buildings, and still has at least one variant of a jumbo. If anything the 76 jumbo is a much better breakth...

Lord savior master wielder of corsix MarKr might have found an interesting bug with this in specific. It's true theoretically 20mm has a chance to one shot the churchill (really low pen chance * really low one shot chance). But there might be more at work here. Looking into it now.

This idea was already "tested" in patches long ago where an AT squad had just 1 mp40 smg with just a team of 4 people. This was a nightmare to balance against because that squad became an all purpose every squad that countered any opening unit. There was never any reason to build a jeep or a rifleme...

Frankly, you had so many resources I think you could've ended this game much earlier with the manpower blitz + more panthers and Stuh42.
