Re: Is the new patch balanced?
I don't think we can judge much about balance based on this game. Notice how we had just 1/4 of the map in control basically from the beginning to the end. Quite opposite actually. Would have been an indication of imbalance if we'd turned that game to our favor. I mean we even killed SP and some Per...

Re: 2 seconds delay versus tanks
Considering the zooks/schrecks, what about decresing the delay to 1s, but on the other hand, significantly decreasing the range? This will prevent the so hated mindless frontal rushing, but at the same time will allow clever flanking and surprise attacks and the 1s will be enough to not to get butch...

Re: 2 seconds delay versus tanks
I personally like the change, for the sake of changing meta, having more fun observing new approaches. Balance wise, only time will tell, in my opinion. Even though it might seem "fair", because it applies the same to both allies and axis, yet not discovered efficiency of support vehicles ...

I'd remove it too. One cheap unit smashes all, too easy.

Re: PanzerIV vs 6pdr
6pdr is far from performing well, ok hardcore balance breaking, I get it.
Tell that to 37mm pak 36 .
Use MG's or infantry troops to support your AT guns against enemy infantry.

Ok, thanks. I'll reinstall it when I'll "unlazy" myself.
Can't even tell if those are sappers in the picture. But you don't really have to bother with proofs, I'm sure you have no reason to fool us.

Re: PanzerIV vs 6pdr
How I see it, it's just axis habit to use only vehicles with high chance of deflecting AT, rethinking how one play axis and adapting a little bit doesn't ruin balance, imo. But anyway, I didn't mean to simply make a 6pdr a reliable weapon (realism) against everything up to tiger. Just to revise it a...

Re: 4.9.6. Beta II
I agree, please don't release the patch until team color is fixed. Can't live without that.
Otherwise I agree with Mark, betas have very limited use due to the small size of player base. Thus 2 versions of the mod at the same time doesn't work.

Re: Little John gun upgrade
You have my thanks, Toni. Had no idea about this. Love it. Now I have a weapon to put down those pz4s, when 6pdr is crap and I was denied by devs to tweak it. It's just for RAF though? Daimler and tetrarch?

So you basically need to run away from the fire as fast as possible. How long will it take to recover after being out?

Re: Little John gun upgrade
Considering my 5 minutes research, it seems it was truly a capable little thing. Roughly 80mm at 450m and 30 degrees of angle. So realistically, smashes all pz4s and tiger/panther from the side/rear. On the other hand, it doesn't fit too much in the mod as 6pdr struggles greatly against those and ev...

Re: Firestorm in brit territory
So it applies for all the trucks then. I mentioned the only catch being getting more res from sectors. But you can use both Field and Armor truck. As these shouldn't prevent off-map, don't know if it is possible to change. If you get off-mapped you can retreat to HQ, no problem. As for HQ truck. You...

Re: Firestorm in brit territory
I hoped Mark would respond here, so I'm gonna assume he's got nothing to add because it's just like Nami said, engine limitation, can't do anything about it.
@Tiger
It's kinda off topic, but I agree.

Re: Firestorm in brit territory
No, I mean you are safe in the very beginning base sector. But maybe it's engine limitation, like wherever is HQ truck is consider base sector, thus no off map. Not sure. What I mean is, you shouldn't be able to off map in starting sector, but if you move HQ truck forward, then yes, in the given sec...

Re: Firestorm in brit territory
Just what I said. You are taking a risk pulling it outside your base sector. Nobody forces you to do so. You can retreat them to the captain if he made it alive, but that's irrelevant really. For me, the math is simply. 3 factions can't move their bases, so they retreat to the very beginning and are...

Re: Firestorm in brit territory
I probably wasn't clear enough. I got an impression that you can't off-map if sector is locked up by any of the trucks - HQ, Field or Armor. Which doesn't apply to your sacred HQ and no retreat idea. But I still don't agree with you. You have an option to push your HQ further, not an obligation. So ...

Re: Firestorm in brit territory
I think it definitely shouldn't be like this, since you can lock down mid map sectors, which can be quite big on some maps and you gain automatic protection against off-map (don't know if it's just firestorm). As I see it, british HQ trucks sacrifice safety for mobility, closer reinforcement and ret...

Vehicles - target auto-engaging
So, you all know the awkward situation, when you are dog fighting another tank/vehicle with yours and once you lose a fire sight just for second, your tank immediately starts to turn towards some stupid insignificant target like OP or pios or mg emp or whatever. Or you rush from a flank to deal with...

Firestorm in brit territory
Hey, So I've played on Autry yesterday and I was unable to use FIrestorm call-in inside the territory secured by british HQ/Field/Armor Truck. Now it's not certain, cause Autry has only 3 territories on one side (excluding middle fuels), so all of them (3) were secured by trucks and in theory it mig...

Re: WM Openings and Build Order
For brits, early mortar emp, section rifle shot (can destroy his sniper spam in a matter of seconds if RNG likes you), rush for reccee. For US, either focus on capturing your half quickly, tech up and smash him with mortar HTs, quads....or if you want to be agressive, spam him with cheap inf (engs/r...
