Re: Flamethrowers on crack
You guys also have to have in mind that IA of units on coh1 is way worse than coh2, while in coh2 flametrowers can be shoot while running in coh1 you can't do it and also their move formation and attack orders are kinda more stupid and clumpsy even to the point that somethimes your flamethrower dosn...

You need 3 riflenades to destroy anything bigger than scout car or ht's, so its not op for me its just usefull to make them run.

Re: 50 gauge a little OP or too much maybe?? recce
technically and from a realistic perspetcive everything could camo. I think spearhead mod did something similiar but it ended up in "everything hiding" and everything dying that comes out of cover, at least in some matches it was this way. I like that, but i would modify at what distances...

We should have more small vehicles able to cammo, like stuarts, puma 50mm, greyhounds, etc.

"Anti tank guns need to be able to aim for tracks etc?
- Well, make it for all or non. Better add a button that allows to switch for higher damage chance or higher immobilization hit chances instead of magic abilities."

Re: 50 gauge a little OP or too much maybe?? recce
Im ok with this but only if we lower the rate of fire of both units, 37HE and 28mm shooting every 3-4 seconds its too unreal to watch. All small calibre guns could fire every 3-4 seconds. It's unrealistic if they do not do so. For example pak 36 had rate of fire of 13 rpm. 2 punder of CW had 22 rpm...

Re: 50 gauge a little OP or too much maybe?? recce
28mm car is a funny unit because the real counter to stuff like M8 (and even the Recce) is the 37mm halftrack because it has Tread Breaker. 'Tread Breaker' makes you think of immobilizing tanks but for vehicles on wheels it destroys their engine and since the 37mm halftrack has 65 range you can jus...

Re: Fixing the 7-8 minute cromwell rushes
"Hard choice"? No RE= No sherman. At least thats what i see. And even in RE most take cromwell as far as i can say. There are a few that put huge love in tulips but if its not clear what doc you go before starting the game, people go cromwell. Unless we make this upgrade non doctrinal, it...

Re: Fixing the 7-8 minute cromwell rushes
Thoughts on the reward sherman for british: Perhaps this unit can be removed from the reward tree, and made a standard unit for all british docs that does not require the Captain. It's kind of hard to choose between this unit or the cromwell especially when you are RE. Because this sherman is the m...

Re: 50 gauge a little OP or too much maybe?? recce
What about dropping the accuracy of the recce a little? After the buff changes to .50 and the crazy accuracy recce always have before this seems like a little op, it shreds infantry in a blink at max distances sometimes, but yeah m42 also has those momments.

Re: 50 gauge a little OP or too much maybe?? recce
At max distances the .50 dosnt deal that much damage since it miss a lot, and regarding 20mm yeah it should pen a recce since its pretty much a stuart but deal low/same damage than the .50

Re: Fixing the 7-8 minute cromwell rushes
Meh.... i don't support this they're fine this way, sherman come at the same time that cromwells depending on how the game goes. And rushing cromwells its a really risky move since the enemy can just spam those super magical armored pz4's and destroy all of yours cromwells easily, if you fail at you...

Re: 5.1.6 Patch
Possible changes to take into consideration for next patch: Stuka bomb not killing tanks on direct hits: This is 1000 KG bomb, if it lands on top of your tank, no way you are just going to be 'fine' and at half hp because you over-repaired it a while ago. Direct hit = death (would make the single s...

Re: Airborne SAS
dude, you cant compare two docs just like that. You have access to plenty of commando units, basically an entire army with short range/long range units, AT units, snipers etc.... The SAS are kind of a bonus on top of all that. Luftwaffe has their 4 elite units the doc is based on. You are making th...
