Well, I'm currently working on a new def doc idea which should be done sometime next week. This will have some ideas you guys might like, but until then I kindly ask not to debate specialization of this doctrine.

HHL3 is supposed to be used on immobilized tanks. while it was powerful, using it was crazy dangerous which we wanted to bring to the game as well. Use mines or arty to immobilize, then close in for the kill - it should finish off most tank if they have already suffered mine damage or arty hits.

Bofors Emplacement (base defense) bounces Artillery

The CW base defense Bofors emplacement can bounce the shells from the le.IG 18 75mm Howitzer for 0 damage, even though it's HE-shells.
That shouldn't be possible I think...

(I'm aware the practically nobody seems to use that unit but still... would be nice if it could get fixed.)

Well, its a usability thing. Too little range would mean its useless because it can get countered easily and its not mobile like the maultier or walking stuka. All game, basically; you spent half the time with the builders, 1 combat squad, 1 MG and 1 AT squad; later the call-in troops showed up but there were some situations where I thought "he has so much MP, why doesn't he get another rifle squad???".

This is the definition of terror.

Blitz has the Maultier, Def has all the gun arty; luft as planes, SE has a ton of SPGs and TH has the hotchkiss.

Well, that last part was ageed on by the dev team.
I din't know when the preliminary change log will go public but it's quite extensive and I think some people may be surprised

Ok, I think I found your problem.
1. your math is off, 24 + 36 = 60 ammo, I don't see where you could get 90+
2. you had 2 25pdr emplacements - if you put them on overwatch, they have a significant ammo drain; I assume you did that based on the white circle I see around the guns in the emplacement.
