Any building should be destroyed right away, period. You can either deny its usage entirely or wait for a nice unit to enter the building and make it collapse then.

Your suggestion instead was to remove all bonuses (apart from accuracy & sight) & literally make them all sitting ducks... That's a concern yes (rather I think more spotters would spot each other), but the binoculars as they are now, cover such a field, u can hardly place units in camo, whit out the spotter seeing it as you do it. I was thinking about spotters and recons as well. Generally i would say that it would be nice to have a 2-3 men recon squad that moves together with your forces or can be stationed at the flanks. These guys would not crawl arround like ninjas and hide somewhere near the enemie base completely unarme...

A Command tank with comet would give you also 65 range without making yourself a big ass target. I see fireflies in stationary modes only when besieging enemie bases and when covered by lots of units and having vision in all directions. Tell me, what will be the difference between Cromwell & CW 75 Sherman after removal of Flank Speed? & How are Comets going to fight Panthers & Tigers?? Lmao, really? Why not just nerf accuracy on the move while the flank speed is active? This will solve the problem of 222 running away while killing half a squad, and TH will require some skill in timing your stopping for a shot.
