I don't think there's a problem with the LeIG since it got nerfed but I'm willing to double check the replay.

I'd take a different tack.

Reduced cost unlock would do two things.

1) Reduce MP cost to 500, not 525.
2) Give free AP/HE ammo upgrade.

Still thinking about possible implications, just wanted to post my idea before I forgot it.
