Re: Suppression lasting a very long time after incoming finishes

Yeah, the regen for coming out of suppression is either altogether halted or heavily debuffed if the unit is still in combat. So you can essentially keep a unit pinned by firing pellets at a suppressed squad because the suppressed squad "stays in combat".

Re: Buildable Stug 4 Late Version

Question here is are there any situations where a call-in WOULD be good? For example, an idea that floated in my own head was that fireflies are removed from RAF but are turned into a call-in where it would call 2 fireflies for a really high price. The reason is it doesnt seem fair that RAF would ha...

Re: Poor Doctrine Design - Luft

I don't think anyone was necessarily crying... I hear sound arguments on both sides. Because I also believe it's true that USA Airborne doctrine is one of the most powerful doctrines because it's designed just like a typical axis doctrine. But, a big reason why it's a little more forgivable for airb...

Re: Tiger (975/170) vs jumbo (780mp)

In general, armored combat has gotten a bit gimmicky and something I think doctrine reworks will hopefully solve. I think the issue is that it's hard to balance armor doc vs blitz/terror doc where one side has tanks meant to be good all around while the otherside has tanks that have specific roles. ...

Re: Mortar rounds tracking targets?

Sorry tiger, I don't think those are the scripts you were looking for. They're structured as if to define variables and settings, not necessarily why the game would behave a certain way or lead to a crash. The answer to the question was already provided by Markr, more simply it's an editable attribu...

Re: Doctrine Rework Survey

Hi everyone, Here is the first draft of the survey results I promised. I tried to take all the results and put them together. This is only a draft, I wanted to work on it more but I've gotten so busy in life that I thought I should just show you all now even if it's unfinished. This is just a balanc...

Yeah, allies have an equivalent in the RAF doctrine. Drop the tetrarch glider and you can build 76mm field guns. They dont have indirect fire though.

That flakpanzer has to deploy to attack ground. When it’s not deployed it’s on AA mode.

Also the howitzer bug should be fixed next patch?

Re: For the love of God, STOP AIRBORNE AIRSTRIKES IN BASE SECTORS

So one thing I was thinking is to make the ability like if a plane gets shot down it can never be used again. In SD44 you control the plane itself like it’s a unit. If it gets shot down you no longer have it And just cuz I know it might be asked, I don’t know how to make it that you’d have multiple ...

Re: Proposal : units can only recrew if they have at least one more man than needed

Even if possible I’d rather say keep the option to recrew than to not. There are still situations where you want to sacrifice a squad to recrew. I think it makes a game better if you have to make a hard decision rather than be unable to have any decision at all.

Re: 105 howitzers

I was wondering it's probably possible to stop this exploit by adding a requirement to the bombard abilities that a player must be a particular doctrine to use. What do you think? In general i think unit limits aren't something worth including, units should be balanced so limits aren't an issue. It ...

Re: Poor Doctrine Design - Luft

This is where the line becomes difficult though, there is no criteria on who is a good player. There are no "professional players" because no one is being paid to play this game, otherwise it'd be easy to identify who to listen to. There is only "pro" in the slang term that means...

Re: Poor Doctrine Design - Luft

First of all, no amount of matches will provide objective results. Second of all, it doesn’t even matter what I think about luft because if the majority agree on something then it is more likely that the majority is right. Even if the majority is not right, it is how the game is evolved and the inte...

My argument to this is: the reason luft is “counterable” is because players don’t know how to play luft
