Re: Artillery Warfare
It is blatantly apparent that the RA doc needs improvement, being replied to like a moron doesn't help either, if these people cant see the problematic issues with the RA Doctrine, as a team player in PvP or skirmish then there is little point in raising the issue further. All you see atm is player...

Re: Artillery Warfare
every god damned player i know agrees with me. Damn, I have heard this argument already ... Of course I acknowledge what you say, but I also choose to disagree with it. RA won't (probably) have any "decent top end tank for crying out loud!" from the same reason that SE doesn't have one, o...

Gees i got the ammo cost wrong, but you dont seem to wish to acknowldge what I am saying and just about every god damned player i know agrees with me.
Atleast give the RA a decent top end tank for crying out loud!

Re: Artillery Warfare
MrEasyUK"]The Sherman Firelys used to be a decent tank, now they are just pointless pieces of paper, how exactly does the arty player advance on the map with tanks that cost so much and have absolutely no battlefield resilience what so ever. Again, I saw them killing every axis tank without a ...

Re: Artillery Warfare
Come on a little honesty here, there is no justification for the cost of the Brit engineers what so ever and excuse my mistake they are 315 man power points, Axis just have to build a motor cycle and you have decimated the group, and engineers only decimate back when they have a flame thrower, are w...

Re: Artillery
There should not be a cap on Arty units, how else do they gain range and creep up the map, their armor options are absolutley appalling like paper, the cap is stupid. If people dont like arty then they should agree not to play with arty beforhand, and not spoil it for the players who do enjoy arty.

Re: Artillery Warfare
To be brutally honest, Artillery used to be perfect, now the Brit Arty doc has been nerfed so much that it is an absolute disapointment, I mean what were you thinking when making the changes to Brit Artilery doctrine? It didnt need nerfing it was perfect, I recently came back to the game and as an a...

Re: Map - 8p_Deutsche_Reichsbahn Day & Night
To me its absolutely smooth, playing with 7 AI on expert with the 250 pop cap no worries, and it depends wether you have a decent pc or not to be brutaly honest. Also what settings you play at. You have to ask yourself the question about lag after you played the map, it looks detailed but the maps r...

Map - 8p_Deutsche_Reichsbahn Day & Night
The Deutsche Reichsbahn, was the back bone behind all Axis supplies and major offensives. WW2 was the twilight period for armoured trains and rail bound artillery, defeat your enemy and capture the rail yard in Annihilation or Victory Point mode This railway marshalling yard map is designed to be co...

Re: New maps / mappacks
Add this one, looks good, plays well, AI stomps in 4 Player versus AI, points and sectors are ballanced and made for BK years ago, in 6 and 8 player versions.

Re: The elected maps!
Wait a second why are they in SGB format lol, I already posted a link with the SGA containing all UKValtmans maps that I packed for him personally, why have you unpacked them and posting them as SGB which is pointless?

Re: Fixed maps
Many thanks, I would try the Bridge one as no mod has the large Arhem bridge in it because people dont get it working, loads of people playing BK contributed to what they wanted in the Black Orchestra map, hense the end result, the skirmish people like the single crossing where as the majority went ...

Re: What mechanics or stuff you would like to keep from BK?
Brit Artilery, you can make two standard arty pieces without sandbags, before you could make more, now you cant delete the standard brit arty units to relocate them, you should be able to atleast delete these usits to move them when your over the pop cap. Spotters in the brit tree used to have camo ...

Re: Fixed maps
Sorted the links, as for the UKVaultman map packs they are the original map pack he made in the link I posted above, as I knew him at the time I placed them all in to a large single SGA for him which is linked above, I was also the guy who spotted the issue for UKVaultman way back as people were get...

Re: Fixed maps
Oh btw, if your using UKVaultmans maps some dude stole them some time ago and reworked them so some times you would join a match and then crash with them as people used two versions but becuase they were from the same source you would see the same map etc and able to join the game but when the game ...

Re: Fixed maps
Try these maps, they were made at the request of some of the guys who used to play BK, there is a winter map 6 & 8 player and two versions of the Black orchestra map, one with just the main bridge and the second with other crosssings and the main bridge... they should work fine.

Back to BK
Hi Everyone, Been quite a while since i frequented these forums, some people may remember me from making maps and other from games as their seem to be a few familiar names in posts.... have had to re-register now etc, assume that was part of a new forum thing. What is the state of play with BK at th...
