Actually, there's a hidden trick to the way you use field craft to detect mines. You got to queue up a lot of attack orders with the shift command in order to make them stop at regular intervals to spot mines around them. i'm against adding sniper ability for PzGrens, however.. i wouldn't mind 1 sniper unit in Panzer Support doctrine.

If I'm not mistaken, the "Field Craft" upgrade allows PGrens to cap faster but also to detect mines when they are not moving - same as vCoH. Who will buy the Minesweeper upgrade which removes one weapon slot when you get a minesweeper ability for every squad with a one-time purchase? That's because...

Quad halftrack still fires at ground units in AA mode.. and also creates a visual bug where the guns are pointed high to catch planes, yet.. firing on ground targets.

Another issue, when AA emplacements use AA mode; a visual glitch occurs as the gunner would leave the chair, or dismantle the gun.

Well, i think it's time for attention to be paid.

Rapid Firing ability for snipers should be no more.

i would be still fine with 1 sniper in Panzer Support doctrine, i'm not against it.

i think Schwimwagens are good counter to snipers... i mean; i get your point, but i wouldn't add more snipers.

in fact, i wanted all snipers in the game to lose the "rapid firing" ability, or even reduce the number of snipers per faction.

From the suggestions here I would probably be OK with changing Panther D for G, possibly even the Tiger I for the late version. The passive bonuses changed so that they work only near tanks, not TDs to make some difference between the tank (attack) line and TD (defensive) line. Wespe probably too, ...

Ya, i know.. but i kinda compare them based on "class" not based on realistic armor.
Gameplay wise, Hellcat is on pair with Marder3 as they are in the same class.
Whereas armored cars are on a lower class.. but generally we seem to agree anyways.

My biggest problems with Panzer Support doc currently, is the 3CP Hetzer & late arty.

Desperately needs Wespe and earlier Hetzers.. inf capabilities can wait.

Marder3 wasn't too close, and the US HMG team didn't use any AP rounds. i was playing Alpha right now, and my full health Marder3 died in 1 burst by US HMG team.

Pioneer squad would have probably survived much longer...

Marder3 should be immune to small arms fire, just like Hellcat and all other open-top Allied TDs.

i don't really think this needs a poll of any sort, but i can do it if u really want.

Polls in my opinion are meant to be on subjects that are more controversial, while this is just a price/HP tweak.

i think Panzer Support is - by far - the worst doctrine in 1v1 games.. no good inf, no good early tanks available, only expensive tanks which are even more expensive compared to other Axis doctrines, and weak later available arty.

The old TH doc from 5.1.7 is in fact much deadlier in 1v1 games.

Well, first.. it's a patrol; and i kinda expected all patrols to be removed from the game.
2ndly, it does have quite a large area; only costing 150 ammo and sends several planes targeting any units near the FHQ.
