Perth Drivers are pretty bad aswell, no one knows how to merge, and most people just don't let anybody in.

It is not the units that ruin the game, it is the people you play against. But the dirtiest player will usually win.

This thread isvery old, and I understand why it lags now, most of which can be explained in the other lagging vs AI threads.

Re: PC Performance (Lag and FPS drop)

Try playing on a wide open map with very few buildings and no bridges, the game shouldn't lag as much. BK is notoriously bad when it comes to lag with the AI, hardware will rarely actually improve the game performance, as it is all CPU based, and the game cannot multithread, this is made worse by th...

Re: PC Performance (Lag and FPS drop)

The AI is the main reason the game slows down, when the AI has pathing issues the game will slow down, this is especially the case on Bridge Maps, like Schiedt (Spelling?) Vire River Valley, Lyon, Archelous River and such, as the AI constantly tries to path somewhere, but the course is blocked or li...

You'd be surprised, the game didn't drop below 20 FPS during that encounter, though it blew up half of the entire map.

Re: WW2 German tanks price and production comparaison.

German tanks tended to cost a lot because of many novel features the allies had determined to be unnecessary, the Tiger's and all their halftracks used Pre-Selector Gearboxes, which are bascially automatic transmissions. The other German tanks like the Panzers and Panthers had Six Speed Triple-Clutc...

This has been a long time in the works, Jalis has worked hard on it, and I have been a part of the testing and development phase, aiding with bugfixing and detection, I still have the earilest versions saved, along with other relics like BK 4.8.1.0 (Which is still available) This allows a great deal...

You don't understand the point of a Control Test, and I can't watch your cherry picked replays, since I run a homebrew mod, and don't even play BK anymore. And you say I epic fail? Re: Axis 20mm emplacement tracer

The 20mm weapons are rubbish in Bk, I also agree with that, when I used to play BK that was noticeable.

I run a homebrew mod that is much more realistic, and the traces are not present in it, and it looks and feels much better.

The team behind Red Orchestra 2 spent over 3 months creating the Tank Interiors for their game, here is their impression of the Hull MG scope on a Panzer IV Ausf F2. The only thing that is not realistic on the scope is the black ring around the outside, the lines from the reticule went all the way t...

Re: Blitzkrieg Mod 4.8.8.0 Patch

Don't make me laugh, there is nothing easier than destroying a Panther or a Tiger. 17 pounder easily destroy them in 1 or 2 shots, not to mention 76 with AP rounds, that can do the same frontally costing 1/3 of a Tiger (a little less for a Panther) Or you just have to bring AT squads, come frontall...

Re: Daimler armored Car/Greyhound vs 234/1 "Puma" (20 mm kwk

If this were to be nerfed, it would become unrealistic, as the 20mm cannons could penetrate around 49mm using AP rounds, and this was their role, recon, anti-infantry and fighting other recon vehicles. Compared to the Men of War Series, those 20mm guns are underpowered by a massive margin, in that, ...

I play Men of War Assault Squad 2 since that has an incredibly good tank damage system, no chance system and that garbage. It uses the mm of Armour and Slope system which makes is a brilliant Combined Arms game, even the Pzb-39 can damage Shermans and T-34's if you aim for the spaces in between the ...

Re: trenches suggestion

I agree with the tank MG very strongly, how does one MG42 suppress better than two? The Panzer IV for example, has 2 MG34's, that fire extremely long bursts, yet have non-existent suppression, yet a single mg42/m1919 on a jeep/Axis light vehicle can suppress very easily, it's madness! The US Sherman...

Re: 17 pounder shell (almost) penetrating a Tiger tanks Armo

It's can't be a Sabot round, as they are just needle's.

The only British rounds with the HE filling were ABCBC-HE, and that is missing the Ballistic cap, and the Armour piecing cap, no sign of there ever being one, so it's assume it's a solid shot.
