Re: [5.1.4] DeSync vs AI

You are not the first one to report this and unfortunately you will get the same answer as others - this is something we cannot really fix because ofnthe nature of the issue (also if it were easy to fix, Relic would have fixed it in vCoH already). Some people say that the game desyncs "almost e...

Re: 5.1.5 beta v6

I'm no longer at my laptop so I cannot tell you exact numbers but it is true that E8 has a bit better armor but it is by about 5% if I remember corectly. E8, however, has bettee accuracy when shooting on the move and also a bit better speed. I don't know from the top of my head the upkeeps, it is po...

Re: 5.1.5 beta v6

@Shanks: The expert repairs gives you extra HP which allows you survive penetrative hits. But still - the extra HP only matters if a shot penetrates. Given the fact that Hetzer has stronger armor than M10, M10 will get penetrated more often and so it relies more on its HP while Hetzer can rely more ...

Re: 5.1.5 beta v6

I understand, no matter what I say, the flanking speed will never be returned to the hetzer ..... while the achilles (which can kill a KT) will continue to have flanking speed and also the M10 (which can kill panthers and tigers, even the elephant, with special ammunition), but of course, the hetze...

Re: 5.1.5 beta v6

The only thing i don't like about tigers is that they're too expensive, and i just don't know why, panthers are 200% better plues cost less lol. This used to be the case before the rear pen. adjustments. Panthers were pretty much direct upgrade compared to Tigers - Panthers had better armor, better...

Re: 5.1.5 beta v6

@Shanks: It has a good gun, a good speed (possible to boost with Flank speed), it has camo (with bonuses fro camo), top MG that can mess up infantry and also good armor. What is actually the weakness of this unit? "17pounders and 90mm guns can one shot it" is not an argument, those guns ar...

Re: 5.1.5 beta v6

The change on Pershings was made because their behavior was non-standard, all other tanks I checked are set to auto-target infantry (including SP and PAce).

Sniper stats were not touched at all. The changes listed for snipers are only cosmetic.

5.1.5 beta v6

Hello another beta is here. This one is mainly focused on balancing the GrB39 in the early game but brings several other changes too. As requested, a cumulative changelog is attached to this post too. General: - Implemented new textures for most tanks of Allies (Sherman variations, Cromwells, M10s, ...

Re: Beta 5.1.5 v5

Me too...the public cry a number of "you fucked it" comments will go through the roof! Anyway - I think we'll release the last beta this weekend. It will contain tweaks to GrB39 based on the feedback here. It will remain live for few days to see if some problems come up and if things...

Re: Heavy bomb for Raf

It was originally request with the argument that at least some arty unit is in every doctrine only RAF is missing this. This was a problem because every Axis doctrine had at least some version of Nebelverfer (or in case of BK doc Maultier) - these were quite effective despite the fact that people si...

Re: Heavy bomb for Raf

OK, so you shoot smoke at emplacements and opponent knows something is coming. AA emplacements are not going move anywhere and if mobile AA units are used, they either stay in the position (and then their accuracy gets nerfed) or it needs to move and on the move they have accuracy penalties too so o...

Re: Heavy bomb for Raf

RAF has basic CW mortar and also the Commandos mortar. Few patches ago even the Commandos mortar got smoke barrage. This barrage has range of 70. Emplacements have rarely this range and even if they do, they have lower sight range so they would need a spotter to shoot at this or longer range (unless...

Yeah cuz when the topic is 4 pages of shitstorm and insults you afford to post multiple replies to pleople who need to hear "no" 100 times. But when there is a topic where something constructive is proposed and people agree on this, it gets ignored. How am I supposed to know if you have r...

Re: Beta 5.1.5 v5

SP vs PAce: yes, both are tanks with same task but the choice there is either a unit that in the arsenal of Allies is unparalleled in terms of combination of armor and firepower (capable going head on head vs KTs) but if you lose it, you don't get another. OR you get PAce which is noticeably weaker ...

Re: flmaethrower like a hot water!!

Well, this suggestion is the easiest one to implement so it might as well be tried first. But it still sounds quite strong to me - insta-kill of garrisoned soldiers, apply nerfs to non-garrisoned soldiers, fast critting when used against vehicles and now also bigger range. The only disadvantage is t...

Re: flmaethrower like a hot water!!

@tiger: So you would give the flamethrowers to all those units, on top of that add them crawling ability. But keep the flamethrowers to engineers and in current state...yeah, technically the historicaly accurate units would have flamethrowers but they would remain never used because (if someone need...

Re: Beta 5.1.5 v5

I suspect there are several reasons. The most problematic that comes to mi mind is that CW trucks don't have free space in UI for these units - the first truck has full UI so you cannot fit ther Bren and Dingo at the same time unless you move something somewhere else (most likely the second truck). ...

Re: flmaethrower like a hot water!!

Enabling Storm pios to crawl with flamethrowers will surely solve the overall problem of flamethrowers being generally useless. Btw: when Infiltration rangers got the ability to crawl with bazookas I kept hearing over and over and over and over again that Storm cannot crawl with Schrecks and if Rang...

Re: flmaethrower like a hot water!!

OMG man, you're just looking for reasons why this should not be implemented and trying to backup those reasons by saying "if we do it, then THIS doesn't make sense". I can do that too...why do we have SMG upgrades in game when we have squads that come equiped with SMGs right away (same log...

engineers seem like they were meant to depict non-combat units who build while rifles are soldiers who've seen fights already. (...) I've fallen into that brain of thought when i play BK. Re: Beta 5.1.5 v5

That however makes me thinking everytime about the role of so called "light tanks". When Infantry gets a boosted version of Pak 36 as easily carryable weapon that kills even the already very vulnerable light tanks, what will be the point of these things, esspecially the stuart or tetrarch...
