I don’t think that’s the answer he was looking for nor a relevant statement.
The “focus on PvP experience” is in the context of balancing the gameplay of the mod. This sounds like network connectivity issues.

Note:
I DONT KNOW IF THE CALCULATOR IS EXACTLY HOW IT WORKS. I can't find formulas in the vcoh scar files. i'm guessing how the calculations work based on a whole bunch of assumptions and things i gathered while working in corsix and coh2 tools. it might even be much simpler than what i've set up.

I would also add that most combat is done at close to med range purely because good players know how to path to a target safely. I understand the original intent for the garand changes was to make riflemen better at close and medium range but k98s to remain strong long range. unfortunately, I don't think this vision was carried through into the game. Mefisto suspected rifles will win against volks most the time at every range...

to be honest, i'd rather see the opposite. I feel officer abilties would be more fitting if it buffed friendly units. Or at least something like mencius mentioned likened to the blitz stormtrooper officer's "direct fire" ability to an enemy.

Mobile emplacement killer. Good to put pressure onto a specific location with some hit/run element to it. Personally, I don't use it often because I don't arty and the new rocket meta is faster alternative. It has more use on lower skill level games where players might not have the skill to chase do...

I take it over shermans for the range sometimes. I use it supportive to counter early AT guns and sometimes late game as a more mobile alternative against anti tank infantry. I'm against more barrage abilities right now until arty is comfortably balanced.
