For allies, it's pretty much a game against time. If they don't manage to dominate axis and they start spamming op units like panthers, it's just gg. Only thing that can stop the game to be over is SP (the only allied axis-like unit), which will eventually go the tank heaven nonetheless.

I tried .50 cal naked emp, 3 pieces approx. When in normal mode, they weren't doing jack shit, when in AA mode, I think they shot down most if not all planes.

Consider adding visual definition of AA range, similar to certain arty units. This will make AA part of the game more accessible. I would also like to ask to revise all arty units and make sure all of them have it (for instance US naked howie doesn't)

You shouldn't ask players if starting resources should be equal.

Ask yourself, do you know the reason why it's different in the first place and if you do, does it fit into your way of mod design and balance? And go from there....Guys you need take the resposibility for such aspects of the mod.

@devs, please give up on the beta concept because it's senseless. Push smaller updates to product version more often, with quick hotfixes in case of fuckups. You'll have much easier time achieving something, trust me.

If I remember correctly, when SP was added, it was made one-timer only because of "historical" reasons. Since then, dev expressed themselves multiple times that gameplay has much higher priority than historical accuracy, so I don't really see any reason why it should be a one time call-in, when axis...
