Re: 2pdr Tetrarch/Daimler
2 pdr is a 40 mm gun, 6 pdr is 57 mm. The 2 pdr shell is 40x304 mm while the 57 mm is 57x441mm. the size difference isnt that big when comparing the ammo. So there is no reason to have the 2pdr dealing half of the 57 mm damage. Thats nonsense.. The size difference is actually quite large. The volum...

Re: An idea for making Royal arty worth using again.
ANGRE ANGRE ANGRE Nothing like the topic of artillery to get people angry, but it really is something of a mess that could use some attention. I know I was surprised to see a change to the AVRE in 5.1.4 which had long been nerfed into the ground. As if they forgot to equip their own forces when the...

US: Captain call-in riflemen cost 300 mp, have 7 men, come with 2 BARS, and cost 18 to reinforce instead of 25 like a normal rifle squad does. Is this intentional? If not, please take a look at the reinforce cost and adjust it to where the normal riflemen squad is. This was discussed before but not...

I then had to include that part in my post; "generally though, if you don't mind me talking about something similar" Offering an empty platitude doesn't give you a license to do as you please. You'll find that's true well beyond the confines of these forums. I am not saying that this chan...

if you build two of them, you will pay a bit more than you previously payed for single Comet but you will be able to flank and kill any Axis tank. You are likely to lose one of the Comets but the other one will kill the opponent and the cost of one Comet compared to one Tiger, Panther, KT (or whate...

Medic trucks/halftracks heal infantry passively. Why not have foot medics heal passively just like their vehicle cousins instead of a zero cost heal ability?

Re: Specialized vs. Well-Rounded Poll
I was suggesting more specialized focused doctrines based on themes instead of capability, while all docs have most capability. I'm making my new mod based off platoon sized games. In the beginning of the game you choose a platoon, call in a platoon leader who represents you. The different platoon ...

M3 Halftrack-Missing Occupants
The M3's occupants aren't visible. http://i.imgur.com/TWDO0I7.png We removed the reward unit of M2A1 from US because it had a visual bug where loaded infantry was not visible when loaded on the Halftrack and could not fire I remember the M2 having visible occupants but that they didn't shoot. Re: Specialized vs. Well-Rounded Poll
This thread and its conclusions are completely ridiculous. Doctrines are CoH's way of having more "civilizations" within the limitations of a WW2 setting. If you think removing doctrines would be a good idea, then you should also think that it would be good for games like Age of Empires 2 ...

Re: Upkeep
Also the upkeep cost are sometimes (or usually) very long decimal numbers. That shouldn't be an obstacle. Manpower, ammo and fuel are all decimal values but are truncated before display. I'm just wondering if its possible for the tooltip to be changed to display more than resource cost and pop cap.

Re: Upkeep
I wasn't there when the upkeeps were set in the first place but in general I would say they are set to keep playing viable for all factions in connection to their units costs and intended playstyle. WM and CW have expensive units but lower upkeep, while US have higher upkeep and cheaper units Would...

Re: 4.9.9 Patch Preview
The M1 Garand was a decent rifle, for common soliders and general infantry combat even the best. In BK its the worst rifle that works at sub machine range only. Combining the worst of semi rifles with the worst of bolt action rifles just even worse. I know this is a touchy issue, but I always found...

would it be acceptable to make the GMC truck from HQ so that all doctrines can upgrade it with the .50 cal? Also possibly sooner as well? By the time it can be armed its already useless. The 50 cal truck upgrade doesn't seem to be working as intended. If you have a British teammate, it can be purch...

CoH doesn't have side armor in its modelling. Only values for the front and back armor.

Thing is, the Sherman is already hard to destroy using infantry.. even with slow speed... Now the Shermans will be able to effectively hit inf and also. The Shermans speed changes range from 12% slower to 20% faster at the very best. That isn't going to fundamentally change anything except to unify...

I am telling you that player feedback regardless of ranking is a small factor in balance changes to modern pvp games. The developers have full logs of all battles and the player profile inform...
