General Data Protection Regulation

Hey everybody, I'm not sure whether you store cookies or anything similar. I did not work myself into the regulation yet because I am in the middle of my exams. Depending on whether this server is hosted in the EU, which I don't know because of the .net, and depending on whether you do any of the th...

Re: Possible Things to Add to BK to Freshen Things Up

Didn't vanilla have the counter battery ability for the Commonwealth? Some cool ideas in there but I can't help but wonder whether adding too many fire and forget abilities will benefit the game very much. If you don't need to manage your arty and snipers for specialized tasks anymore, you effective...

There is 4.8.6 on Mod DB, if you don't mind playing it against AI only, but I take it (and hope) that a Google search was already done by you in the first place.

Re: Why The Hell Can You Call Airstrikes on Someone's Base Sector?!

I guess it's because planes, unlike artillery, can be avoided by shooting them down which admittedly is not very reliable, even if you build additional AA. AA in general is very dicey, ranging from creating no go zones to absolutely failing to shoot down a single plane.

Re: Pz4\M4 HE vs HQ buildings

I'm fine with low damage on both sides. I do agree though, especially the very sturdy looking (and absurdly large) PE buildings get destroyed incredibly fast by a lot of things, especially for their steep price.

Re: Who's the Best BK Player?

You'd also have to take the played faction into consideration. There would be quite a few players who will only go for one faction and that makes it harder to compare.

Re: Who's the Best BK Player?

Hm, sounds like a good idea but what good is it when you can opt out? I mean it would be kinda cool to get a ranking, especially so that you can play against "the next best player". This way would have a goal for improvement and slightly decrease the chance to just get rofl stomped. If yo...

Re: 2pdr Tetrarch/Daimler

Damage seems a little high for the small caliber, true, but they are the only effective tool the Brits have against mortar HTs and as Markr said, they are easily one shotted by the 75mm guns. I'm generally not in favour of too much one shots, but in the case of mortar HTs - on any side, that is, I'm...

Re: World War I - Sim

Hey, yes, when I saw how effective the Panzer III Ausf. N was, I really regretted not building it earlier. It easily deals with elite infantry. And yes, building no Hetzer as Panzerelite is a huge mistake. I did not want to do the standard rush towards Wespe but with two Inf docs against us, it defi...

Re: Broken US early game

Did you try using the HEAT on the Garand? It hits jack shit, especially when the enemy vehicle is moving, and it removes any additional weapon slot. It's the most useless upgrade in the whole mod, even worse than the flamethrower, I'd argue. You are better off trying it with stickies but then you'll...

World War I - Sim

Hey everybody,

I've got an awful gameplay here. Just fastforward through it to see the horror. I played terribly and there are no excuses for it but god damn, this was probably the least fun game I've ever played.

Replay in the attachment.

Re: 5.1.4 preview

The main difference here is that the Marder and Nashorn crew is completely visible from the rear while on the Hellcat you'd maybe see the head poking out a little only if someone was actively looking out of the vehicle - save for the guy on the .50 but the MG gunners in BK are all bullet proof super...

Churchills are broken, that's the problem. They are too extreme in every way, both on the positive and negative side. I personally loath them because they are slow and unflexible as shit.

German HT troops visible through fog of war

Hey there, something I've noticed in one or two games lately but sadly don't have any footage of: It would seem that one of the German HTs, and I think it's the BK Grenadier one, is visible through the fog of war when it contains troops. Basically you see hovering troops in T-Pose moving in small ju...

Ah alright. Yes, it makes more sense even though it is harder to predict. Are there any significant differences in grenades except throwing range though? Re: The bunkers. Ultimate defence structure

The placed demo charges destroy a bunker in single explosion. That is why they take so long to place - it takes time ti prepare but then you take it out in one go. It was made like this because people complained that even if the soldiers inside a bunker get killed, the bunker still provides vision ...

Hand grenades

Hello everyone, yesterday I played a game with sami bosal against two friends of mine and it went on for hours because we're all too incompetent to create a decent attack. Axis had placed a Luftwaffe 88 in an obnoxious position, however hidden behind buildings so that it was hard to reach for arty b...
