Re: 3v3 Lafiere Special Tactics
The moment when the 76mm Sherman one-shotted the TIger with normal round when the AP rounds were not getting through was very funny. That wasn't very funny to me though I was more like WTF. HAHA. Of course, your heart must have stopped for a minute. So many things can happen at random sometimes. Bu...

Re: 3v3 Lafiere Special Tactics
I enjoyed it. Tank battles are amazing to watch in replays. The moment when the 76mm Sherman one-shotted the TIger with normal round when the AP rounds were not getting through was very funny. Hellcat gameplay was nice too. And the moment when the Jagd was pierced finally, Redgaarden commented. Gold.

Re: 3v3 Lafiere Special Tactics
From the Wikipedia : - "Near Unna, one Jagdtiger climbed a hill to attack five American tanks 600 meters away; two withdrew and the other three opened fire. The Jagdtiger took several hits, but American projectiles could not penetrate the 250 mm (9.8 in) frontal armor. However, the inexperience...

I just watched it. Two infantry and a Brit Arty. I think Allies coordinated their arty strikes very well.

I can attest to this. It just dances around the traps.

Re: Paso scelta di cuore <3
Wow, nice game. Good Axis gameplay. Aliies were good too but I guess moves like aggressive pushes into hungry Jagdpanther. Like Warhawks said, should have gone the Sherman route. The major missing unit was Sherman HE imo here. During the last moments, that Jagdtiger was just standing there using 17 ...

Nah.
The earlier mass production makes no sense. The Raid is a perfect tool where it is at present.

Re: Questions regarding the USA units
1. Stickies have high chance of crit on medium tanks, I actually can't exactly remember if it's the same for heavies. I'l check corsix when I get my shit fixed. 2. The ideal time is always "it depends". In my philosophy in playing, play to the situation not to the build order. But, if I w...

Re: 3 man or at least 2 man Ranger Captain?
And it's hard to buff garands when you have infantry doctrine that can field about 66 garands while armour doc only can field 18. If you're getting Rangers beofre you have them fully upgraded in Inf doc. Then you're doing something wrong. I have often seen a player lose a game just because he got h...

Re: What the OP discussion is about
Good points there Warhawks97. I am yet to see TH doc and SE doc used effectively. Also, Defensive doc too. Unless new methods of using different unit combos and tactics don't surface, there will be talks about these things ad nauseam/infinitum. I also believe emphasis should be given to a doctrines ...

Re: Questions regarding the USA units
Hi. 3. Talking about the M8 Scout specifically, how good is the detection radius to hunt the scouts ? Thank you for bearing. M8 scout is an hybrid of M8 scott and M20 scout ? If I assume you talk about M20 recon armoured car to detect camo units, this vehicles is better than others (jeep for exempl...

Re: 3 man or at least 2 man Ranger Captain?
Its not the first time we discuss this. At some point it makes sense. CW lieutnant has abilties like binoculars, off map arty in arty doc, heroic charge idk if he also get VT. However two non doc abilities and later actually quite cheap to get for CW. WH is fine because of the way he can be used in...

Re: 3 man or at least 2 man Ranger Captain?
I too play with the captain in a defensive role only when on foot. I will use him for offensive only when in a HT as max range MG support. Maybe instead of adding more men to the unit change the captain's stats to have more HP or reduced incoming small arms accuracy. Something that will give them a...

Re: 3 man or at least 2 man Ranger Captain?
I found that very useful to put the captain inside the m2/3 (can't remember) halftrack: it works as a retreat point that can reinforce your units, and the captain will handle the truck mounted 50 cal mg which can be deadly against infantry. This way you can even use it to move faster your units alo...

3 man or at least 2 man Ranger Captain?
I was thinking about this aspect of garands to be used in the close up distances and the incentive to use officers offensively. But, it gets very difficult to survive against hard hitting axis infantries. A 2 man or 3 man Ranger Captain would help in infantry advances quite well I think. A 300 mp Ba...

Questions regarding the USA units
Hi. I have few questions regarding the USA units and upgrades in general. 1. Stickies and M1A1 mines and that anti-tank mines in Armor Doc - I know sticky can be a very risky business but I wanted to know about the extent of damages that can happen or no damages. Some figures if possible. Also, the ...
