So every weapon works as max range when passing the range of axis grenades? And after passing the range of this one its "middle" and close range all together?

There is any point to get closer if you don't get inside axis range grenade?

The damage system in CoH is more complex than just subtracting damage value from HP pool. Basically, if you penetrate a unit and deal some damage, there is always some kind of critical applied on the target. But one of the criticals is als "no critical" - this one does not damage cannon, ...

I've just checked, the chances to destroy the cannon of Pershing are the same for PIV H/StuG as for Shermans to destroy Tiger/Panther cannon. But as with any "crit type" you need to deal damage to have a chance that the target gets the critical, that means you need to penetrate the armor,...

So if the Riflemen Garands are too strong they could get lower accuracy on closer ranges, they could even get some damage nerf against infantry, or lower chance to one-shot a soldier with a hit. Please peopple i know that everyone wants to win doing almost anithing and stupid shit like using the most op stuff wich most of the time is thanks to small maps where you dont have enought space to scatter your units to avoid and fight overly strong units and artillery like jagdz sp's priests, etc....

It should be still nerfed againts inf anyway, it was less powerfull againts infantry before just because the scatter was smaller so you could just don't bunch up your assaulting infantry like any good person with his sane mind would do, but now since the scatter is bigger and the AOE its big enought...

Flank speed was also what kept the Hetzer alive from Bazooka rush btw, but it was removed completely.. so what? Here i didn't even suggest to remove it completely from the Achilles, however.. it would just require some veterancy. Achilles would still have HE rounds to defend itself against inf rush...
